Piper PA-20

The new Fuel Selector Valve, part number 11383-04, should be used for all service replacements and all new installations on Piper PA-18, PA-20 and PA-22 airplanes equipped with two wing fuel tanks.

This letter is to advise all concerned that as of September 1st, 1962, the Piper Aircraft Corporation considers the following aircraft models obsolete inasmuch as they have been out of production for at least seven years.

Instructions for applying the recommended fuel valve lubricant in the listed Piper models.

Material list and instructions to reinforce the area where the fabric attaches to the fuselage under the windshield top and/or directly over the rear edge of the windshield top attachment channel.

The round upper and lower tail brace tie rod assemblies, part numbers 10555-02 and 10556-02, respectively, have been approved to replace the upper and lower streamline tail brace tie rod assemblies in the listed aircraft.
